There's a load of pictures of recent shindigs. So, I have decided to update with just pictures/captions. Enjoy!
Handful of KCM'ers who made us, the missionaries, BOMB donkats!
it was such a blessing to get to know the stsmers.. or at least some of them. HAHA! You are all an encouragement to me :) May we all advance the gospel always! now, mobilize! haha oh, and I refuse to conform to 2k10, 2k9 shirt ALWAYS!
fobtastic job on the fob presentations! It was pretty fobulous. fobs all over the world would have been proud. HAH!
and the most recent stsm'ers.. GLMC. It was such a blessing chatting/talking with you all. Honestly, I miss you guys. haha Sorry KCM, GLMC rep'd it well.
Hyun-Woo, who deserves a full entry of his own because of the many things I've learned from his serving here, has returned back to the KoreaLand. God bless America! HAH! Also, Helen (in the blue) has also returned to Korea. Their service and commitment has been a very huge blessing/eye opener.
Independence Day in India (Aug 15) well.. the photo says it well.. it's whack. No drunk parties, no mosh-pits, no fights, nothing.. a bit disappointing. HAH! jk jk.. but it was weak. My high school graduation was more pyro.
My 7th standard boys getting ready for their performance in the St. Paul High School Independence Day Celebration. Man, I seriously can't get enough of these guys. They're practically my sons! HAH. note: there were soo many performances, I've only decided to put up some pictures.
blue in a sea of white. I just like this picture. HAH! way to be different kid! You make daddy proud. I also have 6 or 7 of those wristbands. Let me know if you want one. and yes, I beat up some kids and stole it from them if you're curious. HAH!
Plus points for being cute, minus points for being pigeon-toed. HAH! jk jk. The UKG (Upper Kindergarten) and LKG (Lower Kindergarten) students dressed up as famous people of India. I'm diggin the elephant IDOL standing in the background. (remember this is a christian school).. hypocrites. HAH!! jk!
Parents, friends, and relatives all watching to see if their child makes a mistake. If so, punishment time @ home. HAHA! jk. All the kids did awesome! Parents should be proud. shoooot, I was of my students.
dang. I honestly believe Indians learn to dance before they walk. Some of them can move! If everyone in the world could dance like Indians, man.. I think we'd have world peace. HAH! I can just imagine it now. Nation A: "Lets fight!" Nation B: "No. Let's Dance!"
Absolutely love my students. well.. some of them.. HAH! jk. Meet the father of all these children. HAH! jk. Teacher Joseph is a really good teacher who loves these students. You can tell by the way he teaches. It's very encouraging and a great blessing. Oh, and the sweater, yes people think it's "cold" when it's 85+ degrees here in India, which I will never understand.. 78 is hot for me. But style points for that rockin sweater!
Got to love these kids. They always bring a smile to my face. God, make your name known to them!
Decorations for Independence Day Celebration. God, reveal yourself to the multitudes of India. People need to know who you are and what You have done for them through Your son, Jesus Christ. Save India!
That's just a small bite of everything that's been happening here since the last substantial post with pictures and all. Sorry for the whole "my thoughts" portion of updates. hahah! if you dont like it, then stop reading.. stop being blessed. HAH! JK JK!
Anyway, here are things you can pray for:
1. my health: I've been sick for a week or so with the cold/flu. It's much better now, but still weak with a runny nose and a sore throat.
2. my home stretch: To complete what I have come here to do - preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the children and the people of India.
3. For the ministry: To continue to push on towards the goal, to advance the gospel in and through all circumstances. The harvest is soooooo plentiful here, so in faith and obedience to continue to take the gospel to the ends of this nation and the world.
4. For yourself: A prayer of faith. "God, I want to serve you in all capacities. If you are calling me to serve you overseas in India, please open up that door and help me to obey."
God bless you.
